Faith Principles
7. November 2009 by admin.
Faith is a knowing and believing without having seen, based on the integrity of someones word. Example: If your mother told you she deposited $100.00 in your bank account, and you know she never lies, you wouldn’t be afraid to write a check on that $100.00, even though you didn’t see her make the deposit, didn’t see the deposit slip, and didn’t call the bank. God wants us to believe him the same way, not because he never lies, and he doesn’t, but because Titus ch. 1 v-2 says” God cannot lie”, so no one has better integrity than him. Sometimes believing God has been difficult, because we really don’t know him, we just know about him, and the information we have gotten has been wrong. The first step in getting to know God would be by becoming his child, this is done by receiving his son Jesus who died for our sins, because sin has separated us from God. Just ask him to forgive your sins, and come in your heart, and he will. Then spend time with God in his word, and in prayer, or just talking to your Heavenly Father. Then believing him will become easy as you get to know him.

Misconceptions of Gods sovereignity
6. November 2009 by admin.
If everything that happens is under the control of God, then why did Jesus rebuke the wind and waves in Matthew ch. 8 v-26, and not state, if it be your will Father stop these wind and waves, but not only did he rebuke the wind and waves and they obeyed him, he expected his disciples to have already done so, and not have wakened him. This shows God will not intervene in storms or other natural disasters, even though they are not his will, unless we as his authority on earth stand up and rebuke them in the name of his son Jesus.
